Capital City Cup

One of our retail stores in Austin, TX just put on on the 1st annual, Sorek Capital City Cup. The SCCC is a luxury golf experience bringing together Austin’s top entrepreneurs, creatives, tastemakers, and premium brands for a day of competition, connection, and community impact. 

We were asked to design and create the perpetual trophy where tournament winners will be engraved each year. Each player also received a limited edition piece of KM jewelry.

The event took place at the Omni Barton Creek Country Club in Austin, Texas.

The trophy base is 2 tiered and made of hand stained walnut. Bottom base is cut at an angle. We created custom, marbled engraving plates with gold details. The cup itself is made of silver and copper. I searched every square inch, 3 times of an Antique store in the downtown where our studio is and found this cup. It was black and completely tarnished. It cleaned up nicely. We re-oxidized the inside of the cup and placed shiny pyrite gemstones at the bottom.

Each player received a Limited Edition KM Piece. In each gift box there was a card noting the bracelet rarity. (1 of 1, 1 of 3 etc)

The catered reception after the tournament announcing the winners of the tournament, "closest to the hole" and "longest drive awards."
